Community & Governance

UAPF is built by practitioners who need a practical, open format for algorithmated processes.

How to get involved

  • Use the format. Try UAPF in pilots and internal tools; report issues and suggestions.
  • Open issues. Use GitHub issues to propose improvements, report problems or ask questions.
  • Contribute code. Implement parsers, validators, exporters and examples.
  • Share feedback. Explain what works and what doesn’t in your environment.

Where to talk

  • Issues and pull requests on GitHub.
  • Discussions board (if enabled) for broader design topics.
  • Optional mailing list or chat, to be defined as the community grows.

Governance model (initial)

In the early stages, UAPF is stewarded by a small group of maintainers with experience in BPM, decision management and AI. The intent is to transition to a more formal governance model as adoption grows.

  • Public roadmap and milestones on GitHub.
  • Transparent decision-making with documented rationales.
  • Versioned releases with changelogs and migration notes.

Organizations and vendors

Tool vendors, system integrators and public institutions interested in using or supporting UAPF are invited to:

  • Experiment with UAPF in specific domains or projects.
  • Publish integrations and tools under permissive licenses.
  • Participate in future working groups and reference projects.

For more structured collaboration, you can reach out via the contact form or by e-mail to the maintainers listed in the repository.
